A day after the vote, the big picture is clear. Vladimir Putin has been elected as Russia’s next president, taking almost 64 percent of the vote. The figures are very unlikely to change, being based on more than 99 per cent of the ballots cast. And the head of the Central Election Commission has already congratulated Putin. So on May 7 we will witness an unprecedented event in Russia's history: never before has this country witnessed the comeback of a Supreme Leader! To discuss this, I have with me political analyst Konstantin Simonov.
